It's our 10th Anniversary as a community library this October! To mark this special milestone, we are hosting a series of celebratory events throughout the year including our annual scarecrow trail, an Open Air Cinema evening, a special 10th birthday raffle and a tea party for volunteers, past and present in October.
To enter a scarecrow for our 2025 Rothley Village Scarecrow Trail on 20th and 21st September 2025 - you can complete this online registration form http://form.jotform.com/251656792851064 or pop into the library during opening hours and ask for a paper form.
We have a new online fundraising intiative - Easyfundraising! it's easy to sign up, you just have to nominate us as your chosen charity, the online retailer then pays a small % of items purchased to us. Yarn Craft - Meet on first and third Tuesday of the month, 2.30-4.30pm. Very friendly group - bring along your sewing, knitting, crocheting projects for help and advice ( if needed) or just a chat and a cup of tea. £1 towards library funds.

Rothley Community Library is hosting an outdoor screening of the fabulous film 'Wonka' - tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis from the library during opening hours. Gates open at 6.30pm, the film will be screened from 7.30pm. Hot and cold refreshments will be sold by Rothley School PTFA and Rothley Scouts - cash only accepted.
