Coronavirus (COVID‑19) update 31 December 2020 - Tier 4 Restrictions Apply

Until further notice, in accordance with UK government guidance, members of the public may only enter Rothley Community Library to collect pre-reserved books via the CALL & COLLECT service on Thursday afternoons 2.30-3.30pm, and use the public computers on Monday and Thursday afternoons 2.30pm - 3.30pm (essential use only). If you would like to make a book request, you just need to phone the library on 0116 237 6162 and leave your name, contact number and details of the book(s) you'd like to reserve.  Volunteers will process requests on Monday afternoons, 2.30-3.30pm during which time volunteers will also be available to take calls. 

When collecting books, please remember to bring your library card and on entry to the library, please wear a face mask and use hand sanitiser (this will be available on entry to the library) before and after your visit. Please also be assured that we continue to liaise closely with Leicestershire County Council to ensure that we are adhering to government guidance, and have in place all requisite COVID19 precautionary measures, including social distancing, quarantining of books prior to re-shelving, adherence to track and trace requirements, an enhanced cleaning regime and a large perspex screen at the issuing desk for the benefit of visitors and volunteers.
