Coronavirus (COVID‑19) Update - Saturday 26th June 2021

The library is now open on Saturdays 10.30am -12.30pm and also three afternoons a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2.30-4.30pm.  Two public computers are also available for use during sessions on a first come, first served basis.  A Call and Collect service also remains available - either phone the library on 0116 237 6162 or pop a note into the book return box with details of the book(s) you'd like to reserve.  When visiting the library, please remember to wear a face mask, social distance and use hand sanitiser (this will be available on entry to the library).  Other COVID19 precautionary measures in place include adherence to track and trace requirements, an enhanced cleaning regime and a large perspex screen at the issuing desk for the benefit of visitors and volunteers. Please note that the library is not hosting any community groups in the library until further notice..

💫 Wild World Heroes Summer Reading Challenge - Starts 3rd July 2021 - suitable for children aged between 3-12, just pop along to register for free  (you can also register for a Iibrary card at the same time, if you don't already have one ) choose x6 books and once they've been read, return the books and collect for your challenge reward!  For further information please see the link: https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk
