The 2026 Rothley Village Scarecrow Trail will be held on 19th and 20th September! Please use the following link for the online entry form https://bit.ly/RothleyScarecrow2026 (from the bit.ly platform, it takes a few seconds to redirect you to the form, there's no need to sign up just wait to be redirected) or use a paper entry form, these are available from the library during opening hours.
Alongside the scarecrow trail, Rothley Allotment Association will host a village produce show and craft fair at the Rothley Community Centre and a children's fancy dress competition/activities will be hosted by the Rothley Centre Group on the Saturday from 5pm.

FREE Outdoor Family Film Evening - Peter Rabbit 2
FREE Outdoor Family Film Evening - Peter Rabbit 2 - Rothley Community Library are excited to be hosting this FREE event on the park next to the library to bring the community together after a difficult year and a half and to thank the village for the support given to the Library. Local community groups will be selling a range of hot and cold refreshments, and the Friday night pizza van will be there on the night too. Tickets are free of charge, and will be available on a first come, first serve basis from the Library. The film will be screened at approx 7.45pm, access to the park from 6.45pm.
