It's our 10th Anniversary as a community library this October and we are hosting a series of celebratory events throughout the year incl. our annual scarecrow trail, a special 10th birthday raffle and a tea party for volunteers, past and present in October. We are also running a family village trail, maps available for £2 with clues that guide you around the village - answers and refreshments available back at the library!
To enter a scarecrow for our 2025 Rothley Village Scarecrow Trail on 20th and 21st September 2025 - you can complete this online registration form http://form.jotform.com/251656792851064 or pop into the library during opening hours and ask for a paper form.

A family friendly open air showing of the Greatest Showman! Tickets are available in advance from the Parish Council offices, the Library and the Vista Charity Shop in Rothley and they will also be available to buy on the gate with no early bird discount.

Back by popular demand, Rob Gee is returning with his new production, Kevin, King of Egypt. This is another critically acclaimed show by Rob Gee, it was the winnder of best comedy at Swindon Fringe and has won further similar accolades from other venues across the UK and in Canada and America. Kevin, King of Egypt is a high octane, mile-a-minute, dazzlingly wordy gallop which follows Kevin as he makes his escape from the psychiatric hopsital as he's got to catch a fight to Egypt on Saturday to lay claim to the crown that is rightfully his as the reincarnation of Pharaoh Rameses II. This is an adult only fundraising event.
