It was our 10th Anniversary as a community library last year! We hosted a series of celebratory events throughout the year incl. our annual scarecrow trail, a special 10th birthday raffle which has raised £1,200 and a fabulous tea party for volunteers, past and present. Community Book Club - The New Wilderness, Diana Cook (2020)
The New Wilderness is Diane Cook's debut novel that brings to life a wildly imaginative and terrifying dystopian story of a mother's battle to save her daughter from a world ravaged by climate change. Touching on humanity and our contempt for nature, this is a timely and compelling novel.
