Free Book Borrowing
Borrow books across every genre, completely free, with a Leicestershire County Council library card. You can get one on the spot with valid photo ID such as a driving licence, credit card or passport.

Our hall seats up to 30 people when the library is closed, with a flipchart and easel, a projector and screen, six folding tables, 25 chairs and movable bookshelves — ideal for meetings, parties and community gatherings.

A friendly group of readers who meet regularly to discuss a chosen title over tea and biscuits. New members are always welcome — no need to have read every book to come along and join the conversation.

A relaxed drop-in chess club for players of all abilities, from complete beginners to seasoned club players. Boards and sets provided — just bring yourself.

We stock the Reading Well collection — books recommended by health professionals to help you understand and manage health conditions, including mental health and wellbeing, dementia and long-term conditions. Ask a volunteer for guidance.
Computers & Photocopying
Public computers, a photocopier, a projector and wall screen are all available to use during opening hours. Friendly help is always on hand if you need it.
Fundraising & Volunteering
