Mark your calendars — the Rothley Village Scarecrow Trail and Autumn Show returns this September, running alongside the produce show organised by the Rothley Allotment Group and Rothley Centre Group.
Every year, gardens and doorsteps across the village fill up with homemade scarecrows for residents and visitors to spot on a self-guided trail. It's a wonderful way to bring the community together, and one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.

- Dates: Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 September 2026
- Trail maps: available from the library and around the village
- Produce show: runs alongside the trail, organised by our friends at the Rothley Allotment Group
We're looking for residents, businesses and volunteers to get involved — whether that's building a scarecrow, sponsoring the event, or simply helping out on the day. Full details will follow closer to the time, but in the meantime, get those scarecrow ideas brewing!
