Village Scarecrow Trail & Autumn Show

We're delighted that the Scarecrow Trail is being hosted by the library again this year, on the weekend of Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September!
To enter a scarecrow, use our online entry form — it's hosted on bit.ly so it takes a few seconds to redirect you through to the form, no sign-up needed, just wait to be redirected. Paper entry forms are also available from the library during opening hours.
Alongside the trail, the Rothley Allotment Association and Rothley Centre Group will be hosting a village produce show and craft fair at the Rothley Centre. A children's fancy dress competition and activities are also planned at the Rothley Centre on the Saturday from 5pm. It promises to be a wonderful celebration of village life, creativity, and community spirit.

Since 2022, Rothley Community Library has proudly hosted an Annual Village Scarecrow Trail which aims to:
Over the years, many village residents, local businesses and community groups — including the Scouts, Brownies and the school — have taken part, creating hundreds of imaginative scarecrows and helping the trail grow into one of Rothley's best-loved annual traditions.
