Our Collection

We love our books! Our carefully curated collection covers fiction and non-fiction for all ages, and everything is completely free to borrow on your library card.

Our volunteer book selectors work hard to keep our shelves fresh and exciting — regularly adding the latest bestsellers, award winners, and thoughtfully chosen titles across every genre. If there's a book you'd love to see, just ask — we take suggestions from the village seriously.

How to Join & Borrow

Join the Library

Joining is completely free. Simply pop in during opening hours with photo ID and one of our friendly volunteers will set you up with a library card in just a few minutes.

Choose Your Books

Browse our shelves and pick out as many as you like. Not sure what to read next? Just ask — our volunteers are passionate readers and love making recommendations.

Borrow & Enjoy

Take your books home completely free. You can keep them for a few weeks, and renew online or in person if you need more time. We just ask you to return them when you're done.

Renew or Reserve Books Online

Already a member? You can renew your current loans or reserve titles from the Leicestershire library catalogue online — no need to visit or call. Simply log in with your library card number at any time.

Our Reading Well collection includes titles recommended by health professionals to support mental health and wellbeing, dementia, and long-term health conditions — for both adults and children.
