The library is still part of Leicestershire County Council's service - so most of our books are owned and looked after by the county, except for the Books on Prescription collection. You can get a library card any time by popping in to the library - bring some ID with you.

You can borrow books for three weeks, and if nobody else is looking for them, you can renew them for longer. You can renew books online, using the PIN you will be given when you join, by phoning the library, or by coming in. If you don't have a PIN, come in and we'll set one up for you. You can return a book to any county library, or through the letter box at ours. You can also borrow from our range of audio books for a small fee.

You can also take advantage of the thousands of books held in libraries all over the county. For £1, you can ask for a book in the library catalogue to be delivered to our library, and we'll let you know when it arrives. You can explore the catalogue here, and make a reservation online using your library PIN.  You can also borrow from the library's collection of e-books.If you'd like help, come into the library and ask.

What could be better than a good book? Come in and browse, any time we're open.
